My 2017 Hp laptop was struggling on W10. With these 16GB, it works fine. So I don't regret my purchase. I have no immediate plans to change my PC. So this option is perfect for me. Going from 4GB to 16GB changed everything, with the switch from a mechanical drive to an ssd. You have to be prepared to invest if you want to keep your old PC.

I ordered this memory extension to upgrade a Lenovo Ideapad 320 15IKBN laptop that originally had only 4GB of RAM. With only 4GB and Windows 10, this laptop was completely unusable, as the hard drive (not SSD) was in constant activity, and it was almost impossible to open more than one program at a time (e.g. Firefox and LibreOffice together), as the memory was so low. By adding this 8GB DDR4 2133MHz SO-DIM SDRAM strip, the capacity of the PC is increased to 12GB and it becomes usable. It becomes possible to load several applications and access to websites no longer fails in "time out" due to the PC's inability to load Javascript libraries on heavy web pages.
