Haven't used it in a torrential downpour yet but otherwise it has kept me dry when needed and does everything else I want from a lightweight jacket.

Excellent jacket wore it in storm Betty and I never got a bit wet. Jacket also dries very quickly. Delighted with my purchase

Good Points: This was a replacement for the original Kinetic which developed a fault with the zip Improvement Points: The fit and cut seems to be totally different to the Kinetic 1. I have loads of Rab products, brought because the size 10 has always fitted me perfectly including my original Kinetic. This jacket was too tight round the hips and seemed looser on top. Would not have been able to get even a thin micro fleece under it. Have returned and sized up to 12.
