It’s a bit noisy and clunky, but the Melitta Barista TS Smart is the perfect coffee machine for intermediate baristas.

This machine makes the best coffee from any bean to cup machine I've ever had. Everything else about it is awful. It had multiple repairs that often took weeks during my ownership of it. Not only that but some of the design features are absolutely ridiculous. the Drip tray is almost impossible to handle without pouring water everywhere and unless your counter is spot on level it tends to overflow inside the machine and leak out a hole in the bottom (this is bonkers because you won't notice it until it's ruined your worktop) All in all I regretted buying it from the first week and never stopped regretting it until finally a year later I sent it back for a refund. If you can survive the pain of ownership the coffee is really excellent, but I don't think it's worth the pain.

DO Not buy this machine it will last a little over two years before both the motor for the press and the grinder fail. in the two years plus I owned it I have had nothing but problems, jammed brewing unit, replacement brewing unit and coffee seems to get into the motor area that controls the brewing unit. deeply disappointed by Amazon Germany's lack of support for this product, which will result in a small claims against them.
