HTC VIVE XR Elite

Hello, I practice msfs2020 with PC, accessories and hp reverb g2 purchased in your store. After three days trying to use the product designated above, I advised LDLC that the product did not correspond to my need very well known Valenciennes and requested the return. Immediate negative response without appeal. The product is very uncomfortable to wear. Impossible to adjust the diopter freehand. The face cushion is poorly attached, making it impossible to use with glasses. VERY POOR IMAGE QUALITY for my use, even in PCVR, simplistic software. Used for a maximum of 8 hours, put back in the box and last experience at HTC. If LDLC has a proposal to make, I consider myself to be a good customer (see my history) and I have sponsored the brand with 5 photographers who have renewed their PCs. Note: I have had no advice on product choice from the sales staff in Valenciennes, just reading the site description, which is a shame, JL Lochegnies

i bought this on release and its meh at best. pretty meh screens meh tracking meh comfort and meh game selection, you cant install half the games as vive port is trash and the comfort is not great,,, however you could apply for a comfort upgrade from the website so i did. did i get it NO does pb tech have it NO is this a terrible buy YES

This is the lightest and most comfortable standalone VR headset Ive tried (previously owned the Index, Original Vive, Cosmos Elite, Quest 1, psvr2). Balance is great, but the default face interface tickles the outside edges of my eyes. So I prefer using the MR face interface thats part of the Deluxe Pack. Standalone game store doesn't have many titles (vs Meta), but wireless PC gaming works fine and is my main use case. The modularity and lightness of this heads makes it great for dev work as well.

With the Deluxe Pack of face gaskets, this has become my new favourite headset. The hand-tracking is really good and the passthrough is solid, I can see everything around me clearly. It's comfortable and it's pretty lightweight.

It's been over a year since they released the device. The last operating system security update is from March 2023 and is on an EOL Android version. The all in one options from the vive store are non existent, the headset ecosystem is basically dead. Comfort is terrible even with the deluxe set they shipped out. Even basics like WebXR crash the headset or controllers frequently. This isn't worth $1500, it isn't even worth $300. Looks for other options because you will only find disappointment here.
