So firstly the dragon jet thing is great, designed really well and much bigger than i expected. The submarine on the other hand is a bit of a let down to say the least. It is not designed well at all, bits fall off really easily and that's just from picking it up. One bit at the top where the lego men sit in doesn't fit correctly so it's constantly loose. And yes I've followed the instructions to a T. I'm sure it's great if you're just a collector and build them to sit on a shelf but for actual play which is what my nearly 7 year old wanted it for is very disappointing. The cost is outrageous, the box came all battered and open. I had to check all the bags were there, it didn't come in another box to protect it even the DHL delivery driver was shocked by the state of it and said he's happy for me to refuse it. Amazon did give me some money back off of it for the delivery issue but overall it is not worth over £100. Save your money and buy more of the smaller sets.

A brilliant kit which my 10yr old saved for and absolutely loves. Wasn’t sure how big it’d be, but actually it’s pretty enormous, and felt really good value compared to similarly priced kits - especially when purchased with a slight discount. Out of all my son’s Lego it’s prob his fave.

The gift is for our Grandson. The Lego box is battered and looks like its come from a second hand shop. Hopefully the product inside is not damaged. The seals appear intact. The outer Amazon box was ok. Only a one star as the box is battered.
