I purchased the Tuxedo Cat kit online from the Lego site. When it arrived I built it straight away. Approximately 7 hours. It now sits in his new home, staring at me. :-)

My daughter enjoyed the build and the cat looked good. After approx 18 months a lot of the bricks started to disintegrate. The cat was positioned with other Lego sets that were fine so it wasn't an environmental problem. Complained to Lego who, after many many emails replaced some bricks. Unfortunately, when she tried to rebuild, she found more of the original bricks disintegrated and she was unable to rebuild. Very disappointed.

Bought my grandson this as a gift and he finished it in less than 6 hours and back on the computer he did enjoy doing it though

I found this set to be extremely enjoyable to build. It took me about 3 hours to complete, taking my time. The instructions were a little difficult to read on paper. Hence, I had to switch to the digital version so that I could move the piece around and make sure I was placing blocks in the right place. Still, aside from that, the build was stress free and enjoyable, so much so that I've bought the Ginger Cat to sit alongside this one, as it makes a great showpiece in my ever-expanding LEGO collection.
