I was so excited to receive this as a gift from my son. I have not built Lego in over 50 years, I’m 66. I went over the instructions before I started, sorted my 1st bag and I was in. I had so much fun! Since Christmas I have purchased 3 sets for myself and I’m loving it!

I bought this for a Christmas decoration, but I like it enough that I'm keeping it up. The balance of colors and textures and shapes just really works for me, with the orange slices and berries and cinnamon stick bundles and pine cones on a background of different shades of green. I'm enjoying it on my wall.

I owned the 40426 and bought this for an upgrade. This definitely looks more classy than the 40426, however it is also harder to hang onto the wall (by design you have to hang it onto a nail or a screw, unless you modify the bricks at the back yourself), compared to the string design on 40426. I bought this in 2024, and for 2025 I got it out of my cupboard to put up my Christmas decoration - only to find one of the dark green leaf pieces had broken. There are also no duplicate leaf pieces that come with the set, so I am disappointed :(
