The Old Fishing Store was by far the absolute best Lego build I have ever completed! All the different interesting parts made the pages turn faster and faster just to see what was next. This build will sit front and center in my collection for everyone to see.

I have built many sets and this has to be in my top 5 of all time! When it was first released I wasn’t too fused (more interested in Star Wars) but when visiting the Lego Store in Leicester Square with my parter, she pointed out it had my name on the sign on the fishing store...and that was it I had to have it! The colours used in this build are fantastic and it has a very rustic look about it. My only bugbear was in the order some of the tiles on the outside were placed half way through the build and I think it could have been done earlier as a few were tricky! Overall 10/10 and I would highly recommend anybody to get this set wherever you can before it is retired! Now to make some space in the display cabinet!

6 hours, 300+ steps and all the little details that make Lego great! I received this for Christmas as we are all Lego junkies. It took about 6 hours to build and it was worth every minute. The extra pieces (tools, rods, decor) really add to the set. It's more than just the building and will be a great addition to our collection.

Fantastic set, lots of details. Fun to build. One piece was missing, but I got several other pieces extra. However LEGO have a great missing pieces service.

Without being too wordy, this was my first ever Lego build and I could not have enjoyed it more. I have seen places similar and it truly brought back many fond mamories. The build instruction book, 276 pages, did not have a single word in it save the first 7 pages which was a brief story from Robert a Fan Designer and Adam Lego Designer. There story was 1 page each in English then translated into 4 other languages. A brief but great story to be sure. After that was 269 pages of numbers and parts plus pictures as to where each and brick was to be placed. A bit of a challenge until I got the hang of it on about page 16. I was amazed and very thankful that there were no instructions. It was a breeze with no frustrating spots that I can recall. I have since purchased several more build kits and will continue on for a while. Thank you Lego
