LEGO 10318 Icons - Concorde

The LEGO Icons Concorde is an absolute joy to build and looks exceptional on display. It features incredible details like fully functional flight control surfaces (flaps, ailerons, and rudders), smooth retractable landing gear, and the working iconic droop nose cone. The set has all printed bricks! My only wish is that the wings could easily detach for storage and that the landing gear bays had covers when retracted. Still, it offers exceptional value for the building experience.

LOVE IT. Just an excellent experience. Nuff props to the designers for the attention to details, the included functionality the quality and to LEGO for their amazing services. Can we work on pricing though??

I am fairly new to the hobby of Legos. I have built 4 technic cars, (the expensive ones), botanicals, various animals, Saturn V rocket, Tintins rocket, the Monet Painting, but the Concorde has to be my favorite one, so much so that I bought another one to give as a gift. Unlike the technic cars, the Concorde is mostly bricks and other parts that snap together. Very few pins and small fiddly parts to deal with. Landing gear that lowers and raises by turning the tail cone. Nose that lowers for takeoffs and landings. it comes with a stand that is quite ingenious for displaying it on a desk or bookcase. In my case, got a wall mount from Amazon to display it. If I had a quibble, it would be that the tail wing is fragile, as well as the tailpiece on how it connects to the rest of plane. It doesn't retract from my five-star rating though. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.

One of the best Lego sets ever developed. The set is large, has incredible detail and looks great. The landing gear and nose cone is fully functional and the set has many unique pieces that are specific to the Concorde, without using cumbersome stickers.

This is the biggest set I've ever built, and boy it did not disappoint. It took me 2 days to build, and the display is immaculate.
