Looks expensive when only considering price per piece, but it includes the bluetooth controller, the train motor and the battery pack that can also be used on other models such as the tramway in last year's christmas model. Very nice to have a train with 3 wagons for a change. I haven't tested it yet, but I think the car wagon can carry models from the older 4-studs Speed Champion line, before they changed it to 6-studs wide base. The branch on the track also increase the overall number of track parts as well as providing a Y-switch.
