Built it until bag 5 before feeling like Lego could have done better. I have a missing black tile from Bag 5. Can’t shake the feeling that the way the set was sorted into the numbered bags was somewhat disorganised. I’m going to try and look for the tile at the Lego shop tomorrow. But sorry Lego, Soundwave build experience was way better than this. Very unfortunate because Prime is my favourite Transformers character.

A great set that looks good both as a robot and as the vehicle mode. A solid build that was fun and enjoyable to perform. Optimus now stands proudly on my shelf fighting Soundwave! Till all are one!

Love the details and small play features like the matrix and weapons. The main annoying thing is the arm strength is terrible. It can’t hold the weapons up past a certain point, arm comes crashing down. Easier to transform than I expected. I’d recommend it even with the arm strength issue. Maybe it was just my set
