I owned a Zeiss 8X monocular. The optics were, of course, superb, couldn't have been happier. But, the past tense is there because it went to the wild. The lanyard neck loop attachment to the monocular was of poor quality on my unit. I know where it is, somewhere in an area about a quarter mile wide by a half mile long, on a rocky hillside. I owned it for about three years.
