Steiner BluHorizons 10x26

The Steiner BluHorizons are the best small, midrange cost, binoculars I’ve owned. I think the optic quality is excellent for the price and the focus adjustments and folding hinge are high quality. I use these much more than my more expensive 10x42mm binos because they are so handy. They have a coating like that used in photo-sensitive eye glasses that allows less glare in bright light, like over snow or water. This may impact low-light performance. It is something I’m not sure about. The foam material carry bag/case is a little unusual, but works.

The ordering process was no issue. The Steiner have issues with focus/clarity and terrible in low light trying use for hunting. I have two the brands and the $50 cheap brand has no issue seeing deer at 100-200 yards and Steiner is not clear. My bigger binoculars of another brand blow these out of the water for viewing and same money. Great size and weight but not clear. I have made a request to Steiner for repair.

Very compact and portable. They have worked great for theaters, sports events, and bird watching at the cabin.

I bought these for my girlfriend who's an avid birdwatcher but has never really had a decent set of binoculars before. I'm not an expert on binoculars or a gear snob, but these really exceeded my expectations. The field of view is pretty wide, the glass is clear at 10x, and they're pretty compact & light. An added bonus and major selling point for me was that they were NOT made in China.

So glad I found these on your site, we were looking for a small yet powerful set of binoculars. They were easy to pack, ready for use and bought at an affordable price. I am willing to pay for quality and found them in this German made set.
