Nikon Jumelles PROSTAFF 5 10x50 ultra lumineuse, étanche, robuste

Very bright well aligned binoculars. Very easy to use with glasses

Had previously bought some Nikon 7x50 for birdwatching under the canopy of trees/branches where there is poor light. The 7x50's were remarkable but not powerful enough for use at my local reservoir. Had seen the Nikon prostaff 5 10x50 with promises of bright and clear images. Indeed and to be fair, they really are bright but are very 'soft' across the eyepieces. They do not allow you to identify fine detail at distances above 100 yards or so and are so 'mushy,'/haizey that i believe constant use would not be good for your eyesight. Very disappointed and perhaps should not have purchased without trial. That said i believe the ad was somewhat misleading.

Just arrived. Bought for astronomy. Light for 10x50s. Has quality feel & sufficient eye relief for me to look through wearing spectacles. No tripod needed. Minor niggle is case fastening uses Velcro. Once tested & no return needed, I will remove & replace with a fastening that does not ruin anything fleecy like gloves.

Excellent optics, gathers light well before and after legal light to size up game. Well constructed. Would buy again

I know what I like and so do my eyes! Compared these with every 10x50 in the case, high end and low. These babies stand out for, light gathering, clarity, compactness and price. Love em!
