I bought these on a whim- knowing nothing about binoculars- to watch ballet/operas which may be a little atypical but they worked out fantastic!

I bought these for the ballet. I sit in the Grand Tier. I could not see the dancer's facial expressions well, but they are good enough. The price was great and I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a great pair of binoculars. I went to the store to buy the la scala opera glasses, and was assured by the knowledgeable salesman that these were a better call. They were also about half the price. Gonna get a second pair for my mom. Theyre tiny and inconspicuous, and much more powerful than other opera glasses, without sacrificing area of view. You can see everything you need to at the opera or theater

good. However, the quoted 10 mm eye relief is drastically reduced by the non-foldable eyecups. (They are rubber, but when I folded them down they popped right back up.) If you don't wear glasses then these offer a nice binoc in a really tiny package. I got them because they were recommended by Rick Steeves, but they don't work with glasses very well.
