Really impressed with the binoculars. I was gutted to see the price drop by £124 two weeks after purchase. I wish companies wouldn't do this.

Had to purchase the image stabilising binoculars after looking thru a friends pair. Game changer.

Bought these 18 months ago for my wife to replace the previous version which still worked well, but thought it was time for an update. The new ones have been used only on two occasions. I also have the 12 x version. So real Canon fans regarding Binoculars. After the first time used this 10x pair showed wear in four places just roughed Rubber when simply rubbing on coat as walking. Having just used them for a 3 day Birding trip the same thing has happened except now its through to the Metal in 3 places. Most annoying especially as the previous pair I used for over 10 years and had no signs of damage. This looks to me that the coating is simply to thin in comparison to the old styles. So to Sum up still great IS and clarity but poor for durability. Just to say we are precious with our equipment always back in the case when not being used, etc.

I have had these for a few weeks now and am impressed with the optical quality and especially the stabilisation. The case is very flimsy and the protection (A sticky patch) covering the fastening on the inner case doesn't reflect the quality of the binoculars and may in time damage the binocular casing. There are no front lens caps so the protection provided by the case is next to useless (These are not cheap and need a more quality case). I think Canon could have upped their case quality for the price.

Quick delivery. The binoculars are excellent. Great image quality and the stabilisation works very well holding the x18 magnified image steady without a tripod. They are heavy, but comfortable to hold and easy to focus.
