De NBA 2K-reeks is al jaren een geweldige ba sketbalgame. Het spelletje wordt door de ontwikkelaars bijna perfect digitaal nagebouwd. Bovendien slagen ze erin om jaar na jaar verbeteringen aan de gameplay door te voeren. Dat was vorig jaar ook het geval, al was er toen ook nog steeds een grote achilleshiel: de geforceerde en belachelijke microtransacties. Zouden die dit jaar in NBA 2K24 miraculeus verdwenen zijn?

NBA 2K24 PS5 Review – One of my biggest gripes with last year’s NBA 2K23 was the heavy-handed implementation of microtransactions. After a couple years of feedback on the matter, 2K had the opportunity to respond to it with NBA 2K24. Unfortunately, that response is one that doubles down instead of trimming down.

Significantly more playable, accessible, and appealing than NBA 2K23, this is a fantastic basketball title that finally tried to do something different and mainly succeeds.
