Owlboy FR/NL PS4

You can tell this title had a lot of heart put into it, which is good, considering it took ten years to develop. The pixelated graphics are beautiful and the story/characters are very interesting! There are plenty of cut scenes, but they don't feel jarring, if anything, they add a nice layer to the characters. The gameplay is smooth and I like the twist of carrying the individuals who shoot for you. The levels are fun and differing, albeit, rather unchallenging. Even the boss levels are not incredibly difficult (although they are very well constructed and fair). Don't expect to die frequently or to face multiple attempts at completing a level. I tend to enjoy this game the most when I'm in the mood for a relaxing and forgiving play-through.

Relax and enjoy a retro styled 2d scrolling game. Early into the game so far, but it's fun to play. Quirky story of the mute Owl boy on his quest to prove his Owl pedigree. Puzzles, missions and varied domains presented in retro pixel graphics, simple but refreshingly different. Great price and service by Mighty Ape, thanks Monkey squad!

passé l'aspect graphique et sonore, irréprochable, le gameplay et la linéarité du jeu le rendent assez ennuyeux à mon goût, je m'attendait à un grand metroidvania, on en est loin.

Owlboy est un jeu D-Pad Studio de plate-forme-aventure-réflexion situé dans un merveilleux univers féérique avec un rendu visuel en 2D époustouflant et une magnifique déclaration d'amour au Pixel Art ! Le joueur incarne Otus un jeune hibou maladroit, un tantinet timide, muet et très attachant avec qui l'aventure ne sera que du pur bonheur ! Owlboy est une véritable petite pépite indépendante qui ne vous laissera pas insensible tellement il est magnifiquement bien réalisé avec une bande son qui viendra vous caresser les oreilles ! Owlboy est tellement chouette que je l'ai acheté autant pour ma PS4 que pour ma Switch ^^ Un chouette hibou !

This game touched my heart like Christ. Underrated and very artistic director me as an artist appreciate it and the story was also good and funny at times. I can't say enough. #MustOwn
