Yakuza 6: The Song of Life propose une histoire puissante et émouvante centrée sur Kiryu. Le nouveau moteur offre des graphismes impressionnants et rend le monde plus vivant. Le jeu est plus compact que les précédents, avec moins de quêtes annexes et une durée de vie plus courte, ce qui peut décevoir certains fans. Le début lent et les nombreuses cinématiques demandent de la patience, mais l’histoire et les personnages compensent largement. Les combats sont plus fluides mais parfois répétitifs. Pour les fans du genre et de Kiryu, c’est une belle conclusion malgré des concessions sur la variété.

The attention to detail in the last instalment of The dragon of dojima is stunning. While it may at first seem like perhaps subdued compared to the other entry’s it’s story telling and locations are both at the top of the list. The locations while being modest in terms of exploration are more than enough to revisit long after finishing the main story. Having been to kabukicho multiple times and many small towns around japan it’s a no brainer to say that this is virtual tourism at its finest, right down to the random npcs (excluding the large amounts of people looking to knock you out) A must have if you’re both a fan of beat em ups, great drama, good music, food, drink and everything japanese. Play the other instalments first to get the full effect. 0 is a perfect starting point for everyone

I have to say first that dialogue is only in Japanese with occassional Chinese. You will be reading lots of english subtitles. This is my only complaint. But its not necessarilly a bad thing. The voice acting is good. This game reminds me a lot of Shenmue which I loved! Actually this game could be a new story in the Shenmue universe. It is story driven. Lots of twists. At times the gang fights do feel repetitive but the way the fights are integrated with the story it keeps it fresh at times. The mini games are cool very much like Shenmue. Ive put in about 20 hrs and currently on Chapter 11. I recommend this game!
