This series is one of my favorite fighting games, right behind Street Fighter. I like the characters' looks and game play. It plays just like your favorite Soul Calibur game. The cast of characters is cut down a bit and some are renamed and re-imagined. The new characters are cool (only 2 I believe) and the guest character is from Assassins's Creed. I really enjoyed the create a character which has been around since Soul Calibur III. The story although brief is nice too.

I love the soul calibur series, they kept getting better and better... until now. I’ve always been at least half way decent with the game but this one... just no way. If you don’t fully understand all the moves, all the exploits, you’re not going to win. And they took away most of the better, more fun add on game types to really pour salt directly in the wound

Really liked the original game and decided to give it a try on PlayStation 3. The graphics don't disappoint and are amazing along with the characters and expanded play!
