If you hear the name "Pocket Racers", the first thing that comes to your mind is most likely "Micro Machines clone." For the most part, this game is pretty much just that, a game following the footsteps of toy racer games that came before it. Micro Machines, Hot Wheels, and now Pocket Racer. So what does this game do to make itself stand out from the glut of other mini-sized racers on the market? It tries to come up with its own storyline, the one aspect of gaming which essentially isn't really needed for a racing game. That's right; the main drive behind this game isn’t the adrenaline of zooming down the track but the horrors of being turned into a toy racer by an evil warlock. No, I'm not making this up; the story behind this game is like a bad B-movie, one that is so bad it suddenly turns disgust into interest. Think of this like the "Snakes on a Plane" of pocket racing games, if you will...
