As a speed champions fan I enjoyed this build a lot, The finished car looks great with easy to follow instructions. However the price is high on the website and as it’s a new car I found it in Costco after already buying from Lego.com so I paid another £5 for it, had I have known I would have got it from Costco.

This was such a good toy I hope I can find more like this in my local Walmart this is my favourite Lego set so far.

I hardly write reviews but, after building this set, I felt I have to say something about it. This is one of the worst Speed Champions set in recent years! Compare to other good sets, this one has many open gaps and exposed studs, feels quite unfinished. Lots of unstable parts made it hard to play with as well. It might not be the worst set in general but, fall far behind other Speed Champions sets especially consider it costs the same. How to justify the price when other sets have so many spcialized parts?

These cars are so fun to put together and display! The baggies help with the clear directions so that my son can do it on his own. The bright colors are fun! And nothing compares to Lego brand for quality
