Although I've only just started using this printer, I have found the ease of installation and the quality of the printing very good.

I bought this a few weeks ago. Printing my crochet patterns etc it's fine. Thought I'd try Printing a picture from my phone. It wasn't great. In fact pretty awful. The colours were just weird and not like the actual photo.

A truly versatile photo printer. It's great that you have the ability to load so many media types. 6x4 photo paper and standard everyday paper and the ability to manually feed cardstock makes it perfect for crafting. The photo print quality is the best!

I've been using Epson printers for years, and my previous Artisan 830 served me brilliantly for over 13 years. It was reliable, produced great quality prints, and handled everything I threw at it. I recently upgraded to the Epson XP-8700, and I’m genuinely impressed with how far the technology has come. The XP-8700 is a fantastic all-in-one photo printer — much faster, more efficient, and easier to use than my old model. The setup process was smooth, the new software is far more intuitive, and scanning documents is now quicker and more reliable. I also appreciate the compact design and modern interface. Overall, it's a worthy successor to the Artisan 830 and a solid choice for anyone needing a quality photo printer with advanced features.
