Update since initial review: Horrible. Stopped working completely. It claims it’s out of paper even though it’s not. I’m not even going to deal with their customer support. I’m just buying a new printer. The first time I changed the cartridges they showed partially empty upon installation… and you can’t print in black and white without the color cartridges, even though the printer literally says it on the display. Terrible customer support. I wish I’d just spent more $$$ to get a better quality printer.

Printer jams much more often than it feeds properly. Very annoying! Rate it a 1 because I don't know how to make it lower.

The Epson Expression Home XP-4100 is an okay family printer. Its flatbed scanner produces high-quality scans, which is great for digitizing your old family photos. It prints documents well, and while it doesn't have the best color accuracy, photos still look incredibly detailed. Unfortunately, it requires a lot of maintenance because the ink cartridges run out quickly, and the printheads clog, even if you print regularly. Its cost-per-print is reasonably low, though, as the ink cartridges are relatively cheap.

If you run out of even ONE of your ink cartridges then this dumb printer will not print anything until you spend money to replace it. It's the dumbest most irritating thing Epson has done. Get a printer that won't give you a headache like Epson.

It was easy to install and hook up to desktop. Using disc to install driver. Wireless worked first go with a laptop. So far so good
