This printer has been a godsend and continues to deliver the volume of printing I periodically need without any problems and more to the point, without having to buy new cartridges after a couple of hundred pagers. It is a game changer for me and worth every cent.

The initial purchase price of the ET-2710 means that it’s not the best option if you just need a basic printer for the occasional letter or school report. However, Epson’s innovative ‘cartridge-free’ design means that long term running costs are really low, making the ET-2710 ideal for small offices or home workers who need a workhorse printer for daily use.

Overall, is this a good printer for someone wanting something simple, durable and long-lasting? On most counts, I would say a definite yes. You really are not going to find the initial setup to be pleasant, fun or fast, but at least you only need to do it once. Once your printer is up and running, printing to it is relatively easy, the output is extremely fast for a low-end printer, and the scanning is as good as any other model out there – there’s nothing particularly new, cutting edge or WOW about this unit’s scanning so I won’t go on about it. It works, simple as that.
