Does what it needs to. Bluetooth takes a bit of figuring out between phone and headset but once its done it is seamless. I thought it was missing some info screens but after using it for a week I found a lot were hidden or not immediately apparent. Overall it is good for what it is. It may take you some time to get used to it. Value for the money is a point. Once up a running I was very satisfied, but it makes you wonder if you can get a smart phone for about the same or less it seems over-priced,.I tried using a smartphone on a mount but it is not as safe as using this I find.

I love this thing! I didn't realize how much I'd appreciate having a GPS on the bike until I got one. The only slight negative is that it doesn't have voice recognition, so changing destinations requires a stop (you might be able to do it while riding, but I'm not going to try doing it). Even when no route is entered, just using it as a moving map, Its really great. Easy to see, responsive, securely mounted, what's not to like?

I had a different Garmin that broke this summer and I didn't hesitate to buy another one. The last one wasn't built for a motorcycle, so that may have helped it's demise. This one is built to take the bumps of a road and has more options for travel routes. I use this mainly for our chapter summer fun run book where I load in all of our stops for the summer and call them up as I go to the different stops. Easy to load in stops and add addresses as I go. It takes you right to the door, even if it's 50 miles off because of human error (check the info that you type in). The mounting hardware that comes with it is very secure and I'm not afraid of losing the unit.

Easy to operate even with gloves on. Keyboard is spread over 2 different screens making it cumbersome and difficult to operate quickly. Route settings don't allow for differentiation between divided highways (interstates) and 2 lane state highways. Route calculator has a difficulty with international borders.
