Marshall Tufton BT Black & Brass

The Tufton is perfect, just the volume button has gotten a little loose from turning. Other than that I love it.

TOP

This is more of a statement piece than just a speaker. Designed with a vintage guitar amp look, the Tufton brings in that sacred rock and roll energy to your speaker setup. Whether you’re chilling at home or hitting the road, this fella will be your best friend. Let’s get down to the meat and potatoes. This speaker packs a punch; Rich, full-bodied audio with a strong and deep bass which is adjustable with that glorious knob right from Americana to Hard Rock. It’s also got 360 degree sound so fills the room real nice. It’s a concert in a suitcase. Decent battery and connectivity. It would be nice if Marshall were to include this speaker for their EQ tweaking similar to other speakers in the their catalogue. 9/10. Get this. Now.

I am so happy with my new speaker! Great sound quality, nice to unplug and use around the house and at poolside. Big sound in a compact form. I highly recommend Marshall, stood behind their product when I had an issue.

The Marshall Tufton is acceptable for listening to music. It has an exaggerated V-shaped sound profile with boosted bass and treble ranges and recessed mids. Whether you enjoy this sound or not will depend on your personal taste, but you can expect a boomy sound with plenty of brightness. Conversely, vocals and lead instruments can sound distant and lack detail, while the overemphasized treble range can make sibilants sound harsh. Unfortunately, there's no graphic EQ available to tweak the sound, but you can use the bass and treble knobs on the speaker. The speaker can play in stereo and has decent directivity, so your audio will sound immersive and consistent from many angles.
