Bought these as a gift for a friend. Installed these for him on his deck. Plenty of loudness and enough mid and low response for nice background music. These aren’t club speakers and you won’t be drowned out with bass at all. Yes they can be a bit muddy in the lows but for $120. Come on now. Have the right expectations and these will be gold. They look great and have held up during our rainy months. Time will tell how they winter outside but I expect they will do fine. This is a smallish deck area with neighbors on both sides so we wherent looking to blast sound. Just replace years of terrible Bluetooth speakers. These are connected to a receiver from goodwill and an old google audio we had sitting in a drawer. Google can do homegroup speakers so music outside is the same as it is inside. (Another google audio for the inside speakers). It’s all worked beautifully.

Replaced an old set of exterior speakers with these Yamahas and I couldn’t be happier. Rich sound with volume to spare. My backyard now sounds like a concert hall. Fire up the grill and turn up the music!

good sound, decent price. We use these for all of dance classes so we have to hear the music on top of kids/tap dancing most days so we needed some major volume without major speaker prices :) I had my dad install and he didn't seem to have any issues. you do need to buy audio wire for this. I took off ONE STAR for the ONE issue i find is that we use the bluetooth for once dance room and the sound only goes up so far because the control is on the iphone, and it's pretty quiet for what we need in a dance class... We use the SAME speakers in another room that is connected to an amplifier and we get A LOT more volume!
