La Yamaha NS-555 est une enceinte colonne 3 voies avec une finition laquée noire luxueuse et une construction solide. Le son est clair et détaillé, avec des basses puissantes grâce aux doubles woofers. Elle prend en charge le bi-câblage et la bi-amplification, offrant de la flexibilité aux audiophiles. La scène sonore est cependant assez étroite et l'enceinte est grande et lourde, donc moins adaptée aux petits espaces. L'impédance de 6 ohms peut nécessiter un ampli puissant. Globalement, la NS-555 est appréciée pour son rapport qualité/prix et ses performances dans sa catégorie.

I like the finish. Sound is very good. You can spend five times more money and get better sound but for this price I am very happy with them.

Even selling now for twice the original cost of just over $300 for the pair...YES...just over $300 a pair, the NS-555's are a very good sounding speaker system that also sports a nicely finished housing simulating piano black lacquer! But be aware that over the a period of about 4 years of use this covering will start to pucker at the top and bottom of the speaker. But that has been the only real problem I've had with them, as they still deliver very good high end sound needing no sub-woofer regardless of what anyone else says!

I love these speakers.They are just what one would want if they prefer the actual live play back sound of a good live rock band. If you like easy listen jazz, again these are the speakers for you. If you like bass in these types music, they have it and plenty more. If you like loud noisy obnoxious booming bass, do not buy these speakers. These speakers are made for music not loud boom sound. They are indeed high end speakers with out the high end price. Music lovers will like these speakers. It's why out side the USA the rest of the world buys these speakers in numbers. Yamaha as always did it right.

That is true, should be clearly written that is ONE speaker for sale, because speakers buying us a set Left and Right.
