Le Yamaha HS7 est reconnu pour son rendu sonore honnête et détaillé, idéal pour le mixage critique. Il offre un son équilibré et une construction solide, avec des réglages room control utiles. Cependant, de nombreux utilisateurs notent un manque de basses et des aigus parfois agressifs. Une réponse vraiment plate nécessite souvent un EQ supplémentaire. Le HS7 convient donc surtout à ceux qui recherchent une référence transparente.

These are the most amazing monitors that I have come across since my M-Audio DSM1 Audiophile days. The sound is so warm and clear and round and perfect especially once you begin to tune through them it is absolutely amazing to hear. Extremely happy with these to use for production and mastering work. Yamaha has me sold out to them again!

With having a smaller home studio I opted for the HS7s over the HS8s. This was a wise choice. They are very powerful but equally impressive. They have a very flat response and have shown me where some of my early mixes have gone wrong. The bass detail is there but not over powering and the mids ring true when mixed correctly. This has given may a great way of achieving mixes that work everywhere. Phone, car etc. Would definitely recommend. For me the HS8s would have been too much

I bought the Yamaha HS-7's for some broadcast sound I do every month. I have been using Adam Audio T7V's for a cruel of years but one died. The Yamaha's are a less forgiving speaker, which is a good thing in broadcast. They are also louder and in real terms go lower. The LF response is particularly helpful for me as I often have bands with a bass synth that I have to mix

Over the years I have used many different studio monitors and they all have slightly different balance of sound but the Yamaha HS 7’s are probably one of the most natural and flat sounding which really helps when mixing. If you’re not sure which monitors to get you could think of the Yamaha range as a very safe option.
