Le Yamaha HS5 est reconnu pour son son neutre et détaillé, parfait pour le studio. La qualité de fabrication est excellente et le système bi-amplifié assure une clarté sonore. Room Control et High Trim permettent d'adapter le son à la pièce. Inconvénients : peu de basses, souffle audible et connectique limitée. Idéal pour la précision, mais un subwoofer est conseillé pour les amateurs de basses.
