Polk Audio Enceinte colonne R700 Noir

I replaced my two fronts speakers, which were Klipsch F300 with two of these R700 Polk. The sounds coming out of these speakers are more clearer than the F300. Actually, they sound so good that, I disconnected one of my subwoofer.

When I got a new cheaper Sony AVR (165W)on these R700s it opened up and I felt the music hit my body as I sat on the sofa at 42 volume level. Previously I had the speakers connected to a Denon 6700h (may have been defective) and they never amazed me. But with proper power they send a focused directional laser beam of sound right at me. I had DT DM70 speakers that had big sound and rattled everything in the house but the Polk R700s rattle me on the sofa first. These speakers dip down to 4ohms, so make sure you get a receiver that supports that. It’s usually found on the back of the receiver. I got these on sale but I think they are at times not in stock and may be discontinued soon. Good Luck!

Incredible if given at least a 100 watts or more. The more watts the better. I’m feeding mine 200 watts through this and feel very rewarded given the price I’ve paid for them . These are better than more expensive speakers in the Polk line and are better than anything up to 5K . The brown walnut wrap looks beautiful . The magnetic speaker grills are the way to go . I bought mine from Amazon but returned them because they were opened and had to buy them somewhere else that had them .. if you are looking at speakers up to 5K just buy these and stop looking . If you like bright speakers you may not like these .

I watched more than a bunch of reviews about these R700's. I dont care how postive of a review was given they didnt do these speakes justice. They are incredible. They are a bit power hungry and I'm barely feeding them enough power at 75w each but wow!

Shipping was fast! I'm hearing things I've never heard in my music before with these speakers! They work in a small room too!
