I just received the speaker and found out that the speaker was on sale for 12 USD. Buying and reselling this way is not good. PSSL promised to refund me 12 USD. I'm waiting

Sound is better than expected, very pleased and the refurbished was a great way to save a good chunk of the cost. Can't wait to get the subwoofer to improve the sound even further!

I've been having issues with the speakers for quite a while now and upon reading the reviews looks like I'm not the only one. These speakers have a fundamental design flaw. The L/R switch in the back of these speakers is very wobbly and causes audio to stop working on either or both speakers. Requires quite a bit of wiggling to get it back to work but it is getting worse over time.

The powered speaker gets hot, that heat affects the position switcher, the switch dies, no more sound from un-powered speaker. This had happened to me twice. JB replaced the speakers, but replacement is also failing. Don't Buy Mackie Products

Good sound and flawless set up. However, they do not last. Had these just over two years and that was it. Out of warranty and out of time. The product would overheat constantly and then the sound just simply died.
