JBL LSR310

20 years of producing and I never invested in a sub. Shame on me. Until now, my JBL monitors were doing the heavy lifting in the low frequency department. I always over compensated when mixing my bass. The JBL LSR310S paired with my JBL monitors perfectly an now I can hear an accurate mix of my bass. Thank you zZounds!

This subwoofer is a great performer despite its fairly compact size, and a perfect complement to desktop speakers. I didn't realise how much of the sound I was missing before.

Had purchased the 6" JBL mkII monitors a few years ago for mixing (using visual eq to mix out sub frequencies when needed), but wanted more bass response when using the speakers for listening to music for personal enjoyment. This thing kicks! Great match!

I have a set of Yamaha HS8 and JBL LSR305 MKI. The sound of the JBL LSR306 MKII is between the Yamaha HS8 and JBL LSR305 MkI with the relatively flat response of the HS8 minus the 2-2.5kish bump of the LSR305 MKI while retaining very good mid clarity (vocal), good bass response, and rounded off high end. The LSR306 MKII are simply great for listening to music. Use a good desktop DAC with a full, warm, and detailed sound such as the Ifi Zen DAC Version 2 and you are set. Enjoy.

Very nice powered subwoofer with good frequency response. Paired this JBL 308P MKII powered monitors for a very nice sounding system.
