Excellent drives. Great performance. A bit noisier than other drives, but these are performance NAS drives. I have purchased many WD drives over the past many years, and I've had only one drive fail prematurely.

I wanted a quiet, running hard drive for my media player in my living room, and I especially didn't want to hear any audible noise in any quiet scenes. Thankfully, the drive performed as I needed it to. It starts on the noisy side, but it runs perfectly quiet afterward.

I bought three of these to load up my new NAS. So far, the drives are working perfectly. I'll be coming back for me to increase the volume on my RAID 5 setup.
