Failed within 2 months. This was my first BX series drive. I have never had a failure with any other SSD.

With the reduced price of NVMEs this format is now more of a niche product, I use it to transfer files to a NAS because it's much faster for 200+ GBs than the network. If you need a more reliable solution try the Crucial MX500 instead of this one, the reviews indicate a little less lifespan for this BX. But for external drives or non-critical situations it's hard to beat for the price.

Install in a old laptop computer. Computer owner really likes performance increase over harddisk. Like crucial drive, feel under rated. US company Micron make drives and memory chips. Not the fastest but very reliable and good support & software app. Some running 5+ years without problems.
