Stopped working after only 3 uses. Randomly just stopped clicking down to start the cook function.

Makes perfect rice, but the water overflows and makes for messy cleanups. Suggestions????

We recently replaced our 15 year old CUISINART rice cooker because the non stick surface was eroding. We were pleased to see that the new one has the same design.
