I have two of these babies in my workroom and just recently purchased the second one. The first has been running for a few years and continues to. I have no real complaints running the computers into a 1920x1080 monitor, usb keyboard, and mouse. It switches everything well. The only thing to note is that the two usb backports are keyboard/mouse dedicated and clearly go through some sort of emulation layer. The only thing I have trouble with is my logitech wireless mouse w/universal transceiver in the back port. However, the front port is generic and plugging the transceiver into that works just fine (and has better line of sight to the mouse anyhow). The front port can be switched independently (most KVM switches allow you to do that). The integrated cable packs are nice. The little rubber covers for the photo plugs are kinda silly but they can just be cut off. -Matt

Easy set-up. All connections are solid and not flimsy like my previous Belkin KVM switch.

I really liked it until it stopped working randomly. It no longer recognizes the mouse and keyboard. Bought in February of this year.

I purchased this to split my HP ZR2740w between a windows 7 machine, two os x machines, and left one port free for a spare. The KVM works perfectly across all systems. I have had no problems with high framerate first person shooters. Also, all modern Apple machines use mini-dvi ports for video output. To get to resolutions like 2560 x 1440 you need mini-dvi to dual-link dvi cable adapters. These are $100 per cable, sold by apple. This has nothing to do with the KVM, except to say do not blame the KVM because your video resolution on an apple machine looks like windows 95 in minecraft. Your cable is insufficient. I only wish this unit supported 5.1 audio. Then it would be perfect. But I can't fault it for a lack of features that it doesn't claim to have.
