Le Cherry G84-4400 est un clavier compact avec trackball intégré, idéal pour les espaces restreints comme les racks 19 pouces ou l'industrie. Léger, durable et doté d'interrupteurs ML fiables, il séduit par son design gain de place et sa fonction souris intégrée. Cependant, les touches et le trackball sont souvent jugés rugueux, et la connexion PS/2 complique l'usage sur les systèmes modernes. Les touches sont aussi plus petites que la norme, ce qui demande une adaptation. Pratique pour des besoins spécifiques, moins pour la saisie intensive ou la connectivité moderne.

The keyboard is good enough in terms of feel. The keypress is quite tactile and light. However: * The trackball is too small and is not very precise to use * when the trackball wears, it tends to scoll unevenly, sometimes going up and down but not side to side. This is a poor design * worst of all, there is no "Windows" key hence you need to press CTRL+ESC simultaneously * Delete button is badly placed Really cannot recommend. Not up to Cherry's usual standard.
