Love the image quality, and build quality of this lens! Manages a very wide, yet not overly distorted perspective. Minimum focus distance also makes it a great alternative for occasional macro style shots.The clutch focusing ring is amazing once you're used to it. I would love to see Fuji adapt this feature to more of their future lenses. And of course, Thanks to this company for once again offering the best price I could find. Love the "Get Better Price" option!

Beautiful photographs. Can even be used for portraits if you’re creative. Much less distortion than you would think.

Optically stellar. The lens is almost sharp from edge to edge at f/1,4 and you get perfect sharpness across the frame at f/2. Rendering is beautiful. Bokeh can be nice but don\'t forget it\'s a 24mm equivalent. You need to be close to get blur. Mechanically the lens is great. Weather sealed, not small but not that huge. Weight is reasonable. It fits well on X-TX and X-Pro. On X-E cameras, better use it with a grip. The additionnal metal square hood adds weight but keeps the lens smaller than the original. If you only need this focal lenght for landscape stopped down, you can buy the already very good and much cheaper 16mm f/2,8. If you are seriously interested into a bright and versatile wide angle, this is the one to get.

Good Points: Superb quality product and images Improvement Points: The metal hood, sold separately, is much nicer than the plastic one that comes with the lens, but it is so expensive!
