Le Sweet Protection Looper Mips TE est un casque all-mountain et park doté du Mips et d’Impact Shields in-mold pour améliorer la protection lors des impacts violents ou obliques. Il reste relativement léger, avec un intérieur confortable et une molette qui permet d’ajuster précisément la tenue sur la tête. La ventilation généreuse et les aérations intégrées pour le masque aident à garder la tête au frais et les écrans clairs, même si certains utilisateurs trouvent les ouvertures fixes un peu trop exposées par grand froid. Les oreillettes amovibles et compatibles audio facilitent l’ajout de musique, mais les modules audio nécessaires doivent être achetés séparément. Son look minimaliste et moderne séduit de nombreux skieurs et snowboarders de park ou d’all-mountain, au prix toutefois plus élevé que les modèles d’entrée de gamme sans Mips et avec une construction ouverte de classe B moins enveloppante qu’un casque full-shell.

This is the best "entry-level" helmet I've ever used. This helmet is comfortable, lightweight, and the vents offer a nice mix between warmth and breathability. The back-band tightening mechanism is easy to adjust and sets this helmet apart from its competitors in the "entry-level" space.

This and previous model of Looper helmets are just odd in their fitment - never had any brand fit like this. I'm in the XL and chart states my head is at the lower-end of the range (as expected, should be plenty of adjustment available) but even one or two clicks of the boa system tightened makes it feel far too tight at the sides and (oddly) top of the helmet. It feels like there's a flat spot rather than a dome shape at the top of the helmet. Tried various fit-pads included for both this model and non-MIPS Looper but nothing worked. Apparently my head doesn't work with the Sweet Protection human head schematic which is strange. Can't imagine I'm the only one (Smith, Giro, Arai, Cannondale, Glade, etc never had an issue like this with). Too bad because it's good looking, lightweight and decent feature-set. Hope it works for your head!

We love Sweet Protection. Note they run a little smaller than other brands so we get a little bigger size.
