L’Oakley Mod1 Pro MIPS est un casque polyvalent pour la station et le freestyle, reconnu pour sa combinaison de durabilité, de sécurité et de design épuré. La coque Dura-Matter offre une meilleure résistance aux bosses et aux rayures, tandis que le système Skull Matrix associe la technologie MIPS et le serrage BOA 360 pour un ajustement très précis et une protection améliorée contre les impacts rotationnels. Les riders apprécient le profil bas inspiré des casques de skate, la sangle menton FIDLOCK fiable, facile à fermer avec des gants, ainsi que la doublure chaude mais respirante avec oreillettes amovibles pour s’adapter aux différentes conditions météo. En contrepartie, certains utilisateurs trouvent la ventilation fixe moins modulable par temps extrêmement froid, la coque légèrement plus lourde que les modèles in-mould ultra-légers et la forme assez étroite et ovale pas idéale pour toutes les têtes, ce qui peut peser dans la balance compte tenu du positionnement tarifaire plus haut.

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.
