L’Oakley MOD1 MIPS White-S est un casque de ski et snowboard léger et à profil bas avec construction in-mold, destiné aux riders qui recherchent un style inspiré du skate et un bon niveau de confort et de sécurité. Le système d’ajustement BOA 360° répartit la pression uniformément autour de la tête et permet un réglage très précis, tandis que la technologie MIPS apporte une protection supplémentaire lorsque les chutes génèrent des forces rotationnelles. Les aérations fixes et les ouvertures situées au niveau de la bordure du masque aident à évacuer l’air chaud pour limiter la buée, mais l’absence de réglage peut donner une sensation de courant d’air en conditions très froides ou venteuses. La boucle magnétique Fidlock facilite la fermeture et l’ouverture de la jugulaire avec des gants, et la doublure ainsi que les oreillettes amovibles et lavables ajoutent du confort, même si certains utilisateurs jugent le tissu intérieur un peu ferme sur une peau sensible. Comme le casque taille souvent petit et ne propose pas de solution audio intégrée, il conviendra surtout à ceux qui privilégient la tenue, la simplicité et la légèreté plutôt qu’un équipement bourré de fonctionnalités.

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.
