Superlux Casque de studio HD660

Awesome sound, build quality is a little poor, all of the metal parts are solid and great however the self tapping screws holding the cups on have worked their way out of mine and ive had to superglue them back together. If youre looking for something cheap with great sound i would go with the superlux 668b which i had for well over a year before breaking, with constant 4hrs+ a day use (the longest ive EVER had a pair of headphones last) i bought these for a change but im likely going to pick up another pair of the 668b's

Best value for money reference headphones you will get HANDS DOWN. dont forget to burn them in for at least 8 hours before any serious use. - To do this: put on a playlist at a decent volume overnight and just let it play.

I use these for starting projects on macbook while on the move .... later I send the projects to my studio mac and i'm amazed at how little alteration i have to do to get tracks sounding how i want through monitors. They are very comfy and in all honestly i find these much more useful than my Audio Technica ATHm50 ... and given the choice I'd take these over anything else at present.

I was expecting a bit more from these headphones having bought Chinese headphones in the past such as Takstar 671 which are fantastic in my opinion. For £39 I expected better build quality, I have the Kingston Hyper x cloud which cost only about £10 more and their build quality and feel is far far superior and the Takstars feel much better as well, these feel tacky cheap and just horrible, the metal from the headband has a rough finish not smooth. Sound wise they are good clear.mids are very clear, bass isn't that good bit lacking for me, they have a horrible sibilance type of sound like really sharp treble which is a bit tiring after a while, cable seems strong if a bit short.
