Le JBL Tune 500 est un casque abordable et léger avec des basses puissantes, idéal pour la pop et le hip-hop. Son design pliable et ses coussins doux le rendent confortable et facile à transporter. La télécommande et le micro sont pratiques au quotidien. À noter : le câble est court et non remplaçable, et le son est moins adapté à la musique classique ou aux podcasts. L'isolation sonore est moyenne, donc moins adaptée aux endroits bruyants. Le similicuir peut s'user plus vite en usage intensif. Pour la musique moderne et un usage pratique, c'est un bon choix.
