L'Audio-Technica ATH-AVC500 offre une excellente qualité sonore avec des basses profondes et des détails clairs, idéal pour une écoute à domicile. Le bandeau confortable et les coussinets doux rendent les longues sessions agréables. Le boîtier aluminium robuste réduit les vibrations pour un son riche. Il manque cependant l'annulation active du bruit et les options sans fil, et le design fermé peut chauffer après une longue utilisation. Le câble long est pratique à la maison mais moins pour les déplacements. Pour un son hi-fi et du confort à la maison, c'est un très bon choix.

Positives: best sound quality I've heard on a headset especially when considering the price. The build quality is pretty sound. Negatives: Rather than adjusting the band it adjusts itself. This equates to it clamping to your head. For me this squeezes the top of my head and gives me a headache after half an hour. The ear cups are also not really deap enough or have enough padding on the driver's so the tips of my hears start to hurt.

The earcups are large enough to accomodate small to medium ears and the sound stage is better than most headphones at this price point. There is little to no noise isolation so to speak and as such you will be able to hear external sounds unless you are listening at considerable volume. These headphones are never uncomfortable to wear even after extended use and come with my solid recommendation after 2 months of heavy use.
