We love this printer, have had it now for two years without any issues. The solid ink is expensive but the yield is high. There are a couple different suppliers so be careful where you buy your ink. The inks are coded for certain kind of ink metered or U.S. consumer. And will not accept the other after your first use of one it codes it and you cannot recode the printer. If you subscribe to the econceierge with Xerox they will warranty the printer for life which is what we do. The ink isn't cheap and you do pay a premium however no cost for repairs or parts is a nice security blanket to have considering its a 2k dollar plus printer. It's a beast and weighs a lot so don't even consider moving it on your own. Wi-Fi is not built in and requires an adapter.

Using the original ink "blocks" for these printers is always the most advisable. We LOVE our Phaser 8860 and have never had a problem with this ink.
