Wow, what a bargain printer for the money! I am currently pounding it hard with hundreds of letters from a mail merge and it just churns through them. Am trusting that the 3rd party toner supply does the job when the supplied one runs out. Assuming that is the case, this printer is very cost effective both in purchase price and running costs. Xerox was not top of my list, but it comes out well in the reviews, and I am delighted with my purchase. It also set itself up automatically on both WIndows 8 and Mac laptops, plugged it into my Devolo network and immediately there to add to the printer list without having to download drivers, a pleasant surprise! Top marks for this beauty!

For a sub-£200 colour laser printer, the speedy Phaser 6500 produces very high quality output on both black and white and colour documents. However, its high running costs mean it's not a great option for busier offices.
