I always purchase only the original hp replacement cartridges and have never had any issue. have tried the remanufactured units and had toner leakage.

I am an HP fan, and this printer, while being 7 years old, still works wonderfully. The toner produces excellent copies.

There are four cartridges used by the HP2840 and a printer drum. Each costs around $100 and need to be replaced about twice a year. The product is good - however we recently found out that HP set the cartridges to need to be replaced before they were used up, leaving unused product in the cartridges. Very frustrating.

A friend convinced me to try a cheaper re-fill toner cartridge. What a mistake. Mess and very poor print quality. Almost ruined my printer with the mess. I have learned you get what you pay for. Work for a not-for-profit and need quality printing. This toner does just that! Also ordering on-line is great - ships quickly right to my door!

As most ink goes, I think this is a little overpriced... but it doesn't bleed and always leaves a crisp image.
