What can I say? It is ink and my printer will use no other. I try to get the cheapest I can find. That is not to say the ink is cheap. It isn't.

As much of what I do is create images using Photoshop, many of which use a combination of photos and line drawings, it is important that the final article's colour is even and balanced in the final printing from my Canon printers. Most shops do not stock these 4 colour packs, and the singles they sell are proportionally more expensive, and unlike some 'clones', there is no worry about the print mechanism being fouled up
